I went to the Arby's in Espanola, BEFORE I ever heard anything bad and had I not heard anything bad, after my experience I will NEVER return. The STORE MANAGER (some woman) was outside smoking with her employees, and not just outside anywhere smoking, they had the front doors propped open with the outside trash can and were right next door. Some guy employee who had previously been yelling at a car at the grocery next door, came inside and tried to make my order, WITHOUT washing his hands or even stopping to adjust his tipped hat. I had heard good things about this place last year (2007), and finally sucked it up enough to try and boy that was a mistake. I should've went last year when the other GM was there. I even emailed the REGIONAL Director of Operations (Ben Perez) in ABQ to tell him of my experience. He emailed me back once, saying he'd like to speak with me and I told him that would be great, because there was so much more that went on behind the counter when I was there the short time I was. Guess what??? Haven't heard from him since. Not surprising since just last week, they had someone overdose on drugs in the men's bathroom and had half the police force there with a couple of ambulances and fire trucks. Shocking??? Yeah, since that didn't happen for a full year prior. But at the same time, no, because Arby's in Espanola is just living back up to it's widely known name here in New Mexico, and it sucks. Family fun?....I wouldn't recommend it.
